Argh

Judging from the ominous crashes and thumps coming from the kids' rooms I should not be writing here right now. But what harm can unsupervised kids do anyway. After that last sentence I thought I should check. Stevie had crawled right out of his pants. Abandoning them mid hallway to check out what was going on in Abby's room. Well. She was on top of her dresser clad only in shoes and a crown. Brandishing a wand like a sword. When I came in she asked me "How dare you enter the Queen's castle!?! Go away!" But then a quiet aside "But come back in a minute I need help with my dress." So I suppose I will have to go back in a minute. The other day Abby kept showing me her purse and calling it a Boston Organizer. Then she proceeded to show me how quickly she could put an entire mess of loot in it neatly in a matter of minutes. Even a banana. It took me a minute to realize she was acting out an infomercial she had seen. It was priceless. "See this messy purse?" Dump. "Now watch as I organize this mess in a matter of minutes in the new boston organizer." Too much tv. She also tells my the Colgate total is the only toothpaste she uses. Her day starts at the break of dawn and ends at the break of dawn (Brook Shields) it is amazing to see how much she absorbs. It's is also a little scary. She'll be wiping up something and say "Designed with you in mind" What? I guess I should let her watch tv. Excuse me now, there are more ominous thumps.

Happy Halloween

Here's our little munchkins all dressed up for Halloween. Abs is (if you couldn't tell) princess Ariel and Stephen is all ready for his first motocross race. James was extremely proud. When we went trick or treating at first Abby want us to come and knock on all the doors with her, but after 3 or 4 houses she told us she could do it by herself. Anything for candy right? After every house she'd say " Mom I love Halloween." Shocking I'm sure. I don't think I've ever quite grown out of it.

This is one of the few times I've been able to get Abs to give me a nice smile. No that's not all natural curl, some of it I curled myself a feat I'm not going to attempt again in the near future. Abby loves lining things up and sorting them out, some I'll have to put pictures up of her lined up toys, it's pretty funny.

Our family goings on

Today James is on call so I'm starting this to keep familly members and friends up to date with what is going on in our lives. Both kids are doing well, Abby calls me Boss whenever she wants something now. Abby is very into dance right now, all she talks about is ballet and dance moves. She's not even in a class yet. I think that will be her Christmas present. Stephen is very active, he likes to roll both ways very nearly rolled off the bed, so I've started putting him on the floor more often.
